Building A Play

Building plays in Just Play is very easy and we provide you with the flexibility to make your playbook as simple or as complex as you'd like. Plays can be as simple as inputting a set, play name and creating a diagram.

However, we allow you to make them more dynamic add: concepts, series, situations, etc. This will allow you to filter everything anything in your playbook. For any one play - you can create unlimited frames, attach multiple videos, files, or even images of the signal for the play.

Building a Play

1. Click on the Playbook from your Offense menu in the side navigation.

Your playbook can be filtered using the drop down menu at the top of your playbook page.

2. Click on the "Add New Play" button in the top right corner of the Playbook page.

3. Select which set to build the play out of.

4. Fill out the form.

Not all of the information is required. However, your playbook will be more organized and players will have more study options if you provide more details.

There are additional fields that can be added or removed to the play below the notes box.

About Terminology Tags - Situation, Series, Concept

Terminology tags are used as an organization tool, as you can always sort your playbook by terminology types.

You can also build out pages with diagrams and video specific to an individual term. For information on building out terminology, read here.

Note: Values that are input into fields in the Terminology Tags will automatically be added to your Terminology section. Your system will automatically remember these values and you can build out pages for them as needed.

5. Click "Save" once you have completed the form.

You now have a new play in your system and you can begin layering content into it. You have tabs that allow you to add diagrams, videos, and support files to the play.
